Marisa Albee was born in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at the School of American Ballet and later went on to become a soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet. She has been a faculty member with the Pacific Northwest Ballet School for the past 15 years.

Founded 'Ballet in Form': featuring 1-3 new videos per week from a vast library of unique video content. The mission is to educate inform & inspire both teachers and dancers; to forge a global community for the enrichment and deeper understanding of ballet.
